# 爪の保湿（moisturize nails）

### 「爪の保湿」とは、そして「爪の保湿」が必要な理由

爪は、肌の一部（皮膚の付属器官）です。肌と同じように**ケラチン**というタンパク質でできており、本来は適度な潤いを持っています。

しかし、日々の水仕事、乾燥した空気、外的刺激などにより、爪の潤いは失われやすいのが特徴です。一度乾燥してしまうと、自力で潤いを十分に回復させるのは難しくなります。

乾燥した爪は、以下のようなさまざまなトラブルの原因やきっかけとなります。

* 割れる・折れる
* 縦線・凹凸
* 二枚爪
* 深爪・反り爪などの形の崩れ
* 甘皮の硬化・乾燥
* ささくれ
* 透明感がなく白っぽくなる
